New indicator range from Labfacility offers versatile alarm and communications facilities
2000i Family will measure, display and communicate temperature and other parameters
High accuracy measurement and display of temperature and other process variables, coupled with versatile alarm handling and advanced communication facilities are features of the new 2000i indicators. The family consists of four models, sharing identical styling, operational characteristics and configuration.
The new indicators are ergonomically designed for ease of use; all feature bright, clear LED displays and positive tactile function buttons. They are designed to be fitted into system control panels or equipment from the front, allowing rapid replacement and reduced system downtime. Due to their common appearance and functionality, maintenance, training and operating costs are minimised.
With their exceptional accuracy, reliability and versatility, the 2000i family has been designed for use in the most demanding applications including monitoring temperature, speed and pressure in extrusion lines, over-temperature protection of ovens and furnaces, process measurement on chemical reaction vessels, monitoring of engine test beds and generating plant.
All four models have a universal input, which interfaces with a wide range of thermocouples, RTDs and other process sensors. Initial calibration accuracy is maintained with a unique self-correcting input stage, so calibration should not be required during the life of the instrument. Operator alert and plant protection are provided by alarm outputs.
